About Database Index Design and ABLE Information Services
In 1986 ABLE Information Services was formed by Larry
Kintisch
to provide SQL, DB2 and QMF training and consulting. The firm also does logical
database design,
programmer mentoring and performance tuning. ABLE is located in Nyack, NY, a
northwest suburb
of New York City near Bergen County, NJ, and Westchester County, NY.
Clients include brokerage, insurance, manufacturing, government and training firms.
In 2003 Database Index Design was formed as a division
of ABLE to partner with
Tapio Lahdenmäki S.P., a consulting and training firm in Slovenia, now
in Finland.
Through ABLE, Database Index Design offers courses
and training materials developed by
database experts in Europe to students in the United States. Public classes
are offered
in cities across the country and on-site by request.
Flexible scheduling of our private on-site classes is what distinguishes our
offerings. For training
a small number of students, customers may wish to hold a “semi-public”
on-site class at a discount.
Customers that need to train large numbers of students may request combination
AM and PM sections
running in parallel, back to back sections, classes spanning weekends, or multiple
concurrent classes.
Substantial quantity discounts are available.
Please contact Larry Kintisch to discuss your special needs.
